Today we awoke to –20 degrees in Bloomington, MN.
JJ is home today, as the day program called and didn’t want to try to drive the roads in sub-zero temps, as it would not be good for their passengers if there was a problem in the drive.
I think it was a “good call” on their part.
When I took these photos, it had begun to “warm”. I think it was only –16 on the thermometer!
The photo of the thermostat shows the house at 65 degrees actual temp, though the stat was set for 68.
The furnace can’t keep up with the call for heat!
We are very thankful for a warm place, regardless.
65 degrees is a whole lot better than being out in the “cold”!!!

You should be here with us in sunny SoCal. We've been having some lovely days.
When I was driving in to work today my car thermometer hit -29. Now that is cold! We leave for California later today where the temp is at least in the 70's. A 100 degree swing! We will give the grandkids an extra love from you guy's.

Yes, It is very cold in MN. Our thermometer here read -22 this AM.
I'm working here at home today, and normally we have the set-back thermostat go down to 62 during the day. I did a Home Depot run to p/u some painting supplies this morning. Well, when I returned home, the house was at 62!, "go figure"! It will be interesting to see how long it takes to recover to 68 degrees.
