Misty in Minnesota

No its not our eyes...its the weather.

As I read the headlines today on the web, I am thankful that our daughters (and sons) are not in New Orleans. While they all have their own set of challenges (tropical storms, huricannes, earthquakes & crazy traffic), I was reminded that our charge as parents was the initial rearing and now the continued intersession on their behalf.

While waiting for a haircut today, I read an article about the "empty nest". There were good insights from the author about the condition we face.

Our hearts are with both our Floridians & Californians. Love you all.

Dad

That is something to be thankful for... and be thankful that there have not been any earthquakes yet! I knock on wood as I say that. We can't wait for you guys to get out here! We really miss you but know that before we know it you will be here! --Bryan (p.s., thanks for the upbringing!)

I have a chiropractor tomorrow morning. Hopefully they can put my back back in align.

Evelyn has been bawling for the past three days. She doesn't nap during the day; she just cries.

My cloth diapers came today. Yippee.

Our long distance is working again. We'll try and call tonight!

N. bought DSL today.
